He struggles daily to make our lives good,
giving us all that he thinks he should.

Food, shelter, material things,
top-of-the-line gifts, and diamond rings.

But there’s one thing,
he struggles with, day after day.

He forgets that we need him to love us,
to smile, laugh and play.

For his sacrifices we are grateful,
he gives it his all.

But the love that we crave,
is not there when we call.

Dear Husband and Daddy,
please know that we love you.

You hurt us emensly,
when you dismiss us like you do.

We know that you’re tired,
you’ve had a long day.

We only want to please you,
and for you we pray,

“God touch his heart,
help him see that we care.

When we crave love and kindness,
help him to be there.

Thank you for our blessings,
our gifts you could not measure.

But this wonderful man’s love,
is what we tuely treasure.

Open his heart,
and erase all the anger and sorrow.

Let him know that for happiness,
there may be no tomorrow.

Help him to understand,
that we need him today.

To open his heart,
and let the worry go away.

Let him know that we need him,
more than the worldly treasures.

Help him to feel,
life’s little pleasures.

A hug, a kiss, a touch, and a smile,
your blessing of contentment once in a while.

We thank you,
for all of the gifts you have given.

But without love,
what kind of life is he livin?

So work on him Lord,
help him to know,

Without love and devotion,
His family can’t grow.

Thank you Lord for this one last gift,
for working on his heart and giving him a lift.

For opening his eyes to see that we’re here,
with arms open wide, just happy he’s near.

I know that you’ll help us,
your pomises you keep.

You give us what we ask for,
your blessings we’ll reep.

We look forward to happiness,
we know it’s on it’s way.

Thank you for this blessing,
In Jesus’ name we pray.”

Someday soon,
life will be so grand.

God’s gonna touch his heart,
and he’ll understand.

He’ll hold us, and kiss us,
and reply when we say.

Husband or Daddy,
we love you and missed you today.

“ Wife and children,
something happened today.

My heart was lifted,
in a miraculous way.

For some strange reason,
I can not explain.

I must say I love you,
and I can not refrain.

My day was so stressful,
I’m very tired you see.

But it made me so happy,
to know you were home waiting for me.

I know that you love me,
more than words can say.

And I see that you need me,
at the end of the day ,

To remember you love me.
and need me to see,

Your strength and your happiness,
you get it from me.

I know I’m am the rock,
that you lean on for life,

I love you my children,
my family, my wife.

I was so caught up in trying,
to give us a good start.

In life,
that I forgot one small part.

God and my family,
give me unconditional love.

Those material possesions,
are gifts from above.

So first “Thank you God for all that we are,
for my home and my family, Oh, and our new car.”

Without you,
none of these things would be mine.

A family that loves me,
and blessings devine.

I feel a contentment,
in this life I’ve been given.

I see now, with love and devotion,
life is so worth livin!”
