His Right

The day my soul leaves my temporary body,
I will stand in front of my maker,
at the promise land.
Waiting to hear my affirmation.
Shall it be all benevolent,
or just plain transgressions?
For every moment of every living year I will be judged.
Looking back throughout the years,
I can truly say I have my fear.
As I listen to each of my confessions,
my soul shivers, reality sets in,
truth, sin, graciousness, greed and good deeds are being determined.
At the end will I hear my God's commendations,
Or will I hear unrighteousness?
Will I be allowed to join with my loved ones through the Holy gates?
It's not a privilege but a blessing.
He is my maker and holds the key.
We must remember,
when we engage in conversation with others,
it is only His right not ours for
pre-judgement.
