Everything was perfect
Until one day you said good-bye
That day plays over and over again in my mind
I constantly ask myself what could I have done
Was there anything I should have said
And the answer is no
I did everything and I said everything
I told you that I loved you
You asked if I really thought we were going to be together forever
And I said yes, but I guess that was my own stupidity
I put my heart out on the line and it was broken
I am not one bit sorry
Because I know what real love is and I know we will be together again someday
Until then I will wait and love you still
