I was running
from the pain inside
so it wont reach me
and tare it to the outside of me
i look above it all
and try to make it sound good through a call
over should i keep reaching
or should i give up trying
instead of crying
i decided to keep going
to keeping standing
with my head up
and never shut up
to show that im not a water drop
that had fallen from the stem of a plant
and had kept sinking
slowly down
as everything that exists doesnt rot
in my one shot
that i was given to not
give up
I was running
no longer
dropping
just flying
almost skipping across anything
giving everything i got
and show what im not
a coward or a quitter.
