I filled myself with these thoughts
And after what seemed like years

Your eyes always shined
But they had begun to gleam

And found out what true love means

The one thought that I was thinking
Is what is this all about?

Is this some kind of a joke?
You want to go out with me?
Tell me what this is about!
Tell me what this means!

I held my thoughts inside
Put aside what I wanted to say
Gave you all I could give you
Went out with you the next day

Something must have clicked
We surely made a connection
And all this time I wasted
Fearing your rejection

Your no longer that kid
Who would never go out with me
It's as plain as day
We're as happy together as can be

You talk about the future
Places that you want to go
Things that we can do together
And how together we'll grow old

You tell me that I'm great
I'm all your dreams come true
I just look in your eyes
And tell you I love you

You blow off other girls
That you seemed to like before
Now they don't mean half as much
As they did to you before

And if it's one thing that I hope
It's that we are meant to be

I've waited for you so long
And now your finnally here
To make me smile and make me cry
And to wipe away my tears

And there's one thing you can bet
One thing I can see to
Things have definatly changed
