Another great poem below...
Nights End

Out in the dark, deep in thought
I was lost on a backroad of my soul
no maps, no morning sun to guild me
I was on the backside of the light
the road was long and wound with circles
I thought I'd never see again

suddenly a lantern appeared
in the distance another soul was approching
closer she came through the darkness
her lamp becoming a beacon
for the first time I could see

a path appeared as she drew closer
it shone lavinder and gold
leading off towards her
the beacon became a search lite
the light was beutiful.

I began to run
thinking i could ask directions.
the light, like a sun
shone on my face, closer to her.
I asked "do you know the way"
her eyes shined like emerald.

"the way has always been here" she said
I replied" but it was dark and now it's bright"
and in the new light she turned.
she held out her hand.
"together we make the light"

gently she touched me
softly she kissed me
"walk with me" she said
and I have been following her since.
