Love is a river of dreams
deep in the back of mind
This river is a series of streams
but there's one I still can't find

This love that I am reaching for
just simply won't reach back
I keep trying more and more
his love for me is what I lack

My head is dark and empty
I'm not sure what to do
I dream that he would love me
and wish my dreams come true

Love is river of dreams
flowing slowly to the end
My tears overflow the streams
'cause I see him as more than a friend

I know there will never be light
in the darkness of my head
Because I know it's just a dream
I just hope it never ends
