When I'm confused about my life
When everything seems wrong
I always think of how you care
It helps to to be strong

You are my star and guiding light
You help me through the dark
I love the way you understand
The feeling in my heart

No one's ever made me feel
Like you in this short time
My heart beats faster when you're near
I'm glad that you are mine

As the bond grows slowly stronger
I realize that it's true
I thought it over, now I know
I really do love you

Although I know that it can't work
I know there is another
I cherish what we have for now
Whenever we're together

In the end, it can only hurt
But I know I'll make it through
I'm willing to endure all that
If only just for you
