yet I've seen the warmth behind your cold eyes

hiding from love you're alone and afraid,
she betrayed your trust,
and we're the ones who paid

there's a struggle within,
and you're torn half apart,
for you're fighting a war,
between your mind and your heart

deep down you know that i posess the key,
that could unlock these chains,
and set your tortured soul free
